Last Cloudia is a JRPG with real-time combat set in a Final Fantasy-style world called Granzelia, where man and beast live together in harmony. You play as Kyle, a brave, young knight, as he makes his way through this epic story.
Last Cloudia's combat system is perfectly adapted for touch screens. Your characters move and attack automatically, but it's up to you to decide when to activate special abilities and cast magic spells. You can also choose missions or switch between characters at any time, since you can enter combat with up to four.
The way the story in Last Cloudia unfolds is similar to traditional JRPGs with plenty of interactions between characters, including animated scenes. Between levels, you can use a gacha system to unlock new characters or customize the characters you already have. You can unlock dozens of different characters, each with his or her own personality and special abilities.
Last Cloudia is an outstanding JRPG no matter how you slice it. Visually, it's highly reminiscent of Octopath Traveler, an excellent game. On the other hand, while the game's combat system might seem a little chaotic at first, it incorporates plenty of strategy and planning.
